To draw a section or view, you define two base lines: one in an existing elevation and the other where the section or view will be created.
Then, use the tools of Sections & Views to trace over the elevation to draw directly in the section or view.
A movie is available that shows how you can create two views of a two-story building in five minutes. Of course, you can do it more quickly than this, but the movie is slow and deliberate so you can clearly see what is happening.
The movie is available in two formats: one that you can view directly in streaming, and the other to download.
